Getting organized For crafts
Whether you use a pretty basket or a desk, getting organised for kids crafts is essential.
Crafts can be as simple or complicated as you wish. But you always need a few things ready for creating memories. Every home proberly needs sissors, glue, tape, construction paper and plain whie paper. I also collect cardstock from packages and cardbard from cereal boxes. Glitter and stickers can be picked up seasonally, and adds a touch of glamor on most any project. I like shopping for these items at Dollor Tree stores. At $1.00 a package you cant go wrong on the price. I had my husband install an attractive shelf in our hallway to store our supplies on, as my hall is very wide, and I have a small home with no other options. Its attractive and making good use of an otherwise forgotten area. I once used an extra hall closet as a craft storage area, and even had shelves for current crafts. A dresser drawer works well as does a pretty picnic basket. An extra bedroom used for crafts would be ideal for an avid crafter, as would a corner of the garage. Whatever your level, it a good idea to keep things for up to three months in advance.
